Congress on Cultural Ecosystem Services and Biocultural Heritage

We invite researchers, practitioners, policymakers, students, and local community representatives to contribute by presenting case studies, methodological approaches, and innovative research related to Cultural Ecosystem Services (CES) and Biocultural Heritage.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
We welcome the following types of contributions:

Oral presentations (10-15 minutes).

Short case study presentations (7-10 minutes).

Posters and multimedia presentations (including short videos, visual storytelling, and interactive formats).

Case studies from biosphere reserves and other conservation areas, emphasizing the interconnection between people and nature.

Community-based approaches and participatory research in the management of cultural landscapes.

Nature-based solutions (NbS) and cultural resilience strategies in response to climate change.

The role of arts, music, and storytelling in cultural and ecological sustainability.

Digital humanities, AI, and technological innovations in the documentation and promotion of biocultural heritage.

Policy integration and governance frameworks for sustainable ecosystem management.

Sounds for Sustainability: The role of soundscapes, music, and traditional practices in shaping environmental awareness and conservation efforts.
